AMTS Launches Special Bus Service to Facilitate Pilgrims
AHMEDABAD, August 7, 2013: Like every year AMTS has announced special bus service for devotees during the holy month of Sawan as per Hindu calendar. Starting Wednesday, the bus service will take the devotees to various pilgrimage spots in the city like Bhadrakali temple, Jagannath temple,Lambha temple, VaishnoDevi temple, Balaji temple.
The bus for the above locations will leave at 8.15 am and finish the tour by 4.15 pm. Buses will ply from Lal Darwaza, Kalupur, Vadaj and Maninagar. The cost of ticket for day-long tour is Rs 90 and Rs 45 for adults and children respectively. Meanwhile, AMC banned selling of grass on roads in the city on Tuesday. People selling grass in open on roads have become a menace for traffic after which AMC decided to impose a ban. AMC also collected Rs 2,550 in fine and took 1,117 kg of grass from the sellers.
