Special Poojas and rituals at Vemulavada sri Raja Rajeswari Temple in the eve of Sravana masam
Karimnagar, August 6, 2013: Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada of Karimnagar district has decided to conduct various special pujas and rituals during the annual Shravana masam celebrations from August 7 to September 5.
According an official release here on Monday, the temple priests have decided to conduct early morning Rudra Abishekhams at 5.30 a.m. on all the four Mondays in the Shravana masam. The Mahalingarchana would also be held at the kalyana mandapam on Monday evenings.
Similarly, special pujas would be conducted on all the four Fridays at the Raja Rajeshwari Devi shrine. A mass ‘kumkum archana’ programme would be conduct at the temple shrine on August 23. The devotees were informed to attend the ritual by collecting the ticket for ‘mass kumkuma’ puja by paying Rs. 250.
The devasthanam authorities said that they were expecting huge pilgrims rush on all Mondays and Fridays during the auspicious month at the temple. They said that they were making all arrangements for for the occasion.
