Pathanamthitta, August 5, 2013: K. Sivadasan Nair, MLA, has alleged the reported statement of Aranmula Heritage Village Action Council leader Kummanam Rajashekharan that the MLA was not invited for the inaugural function of the Vallasadya at the Sree Parthasarathy temple held on Wednesday was a ploy to whitewash the cruel attack on the former on the temple premises.

In a statement issued here on Friday, Mr Nair said the Palliyoda Seva Sanghom leaders had invited him for the inaugural function. He said the PSS leaders had reminded him of the function on Wednesday morning too, he said.

Savage mark

Mr. Nair alleged that the reported statement of Mr. Rajashejharan and the action council, that they had shutout the people’s representatives from visiting the temple, was nothing short of a savage remark.

The right-thinking devotees who respected the custom and tradition of temples should oppose this statement, he added.
