Dharwad, August 5, 2013: Garag police on Friday arrested one person in connection with the recent idol theft from the Jain Basadi in Kotabagi village, Dharwad taluk. The police arrested Madivaleppa Kudureppa Vagganavar of Hangarki village while he was trying to sell the idol at Garag. Police recovered the six-inch idol of ‘Jwalamal’. The accused said the second idol of ‘Parshwanath’ has been lost.
