Bellary, August 4, 2013: Basavaraj Panchagal, a theatre personality, was conferred with the State-level Bellary Raghava award, instituted by the Raghava Memorial Association, at a function held here on Friday evening, to mark the 133rd birth anniversary of Bellary Raghava.

D. Mahendra Nath, great grandson of Bellary Raghava, presented the award, which included a silver medal, a shawl and a memento.

Similarly, Genakihal Thimmanagouda, a police officer; Ubbalagundi Veereshappa and Byali Shivaprasad Gouda of Kudligi were conferred with the district-level awards.
