Madurai, August 3, 2013: Southern Railway will run special express trains between Madurai and Rameswaram on August 6 (Tuesday) to clear extra rush of pilgrims in view of ‘Aadi Ammavasai’ festival at Rameswaram.

A statement issued here on Friday said the Madurai-Rameswaram Express Special will leave Madurai at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and reach Rameswaram at 11.10 a.m.

The Rameswaram-Madurai Express Special will leave Rameswaram at 3 p.m. on the same day and reach Madurai at 6 p.m.

These trains will stop at Madurai East, Tirupuvanam, Tirupachethi, Manamadurai, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram, Uchipuli, Mandapam and Pamban.
