Repco Bank Starts E-Remittance Gateway for Temple Work
Chennai, July 30, 2013: Repco Bank launched its e-remittance gateway for the Thirunallaru Saneeswara Bhagawan Golden Chariot work recently. The Thirunallar temple is a Shiva temple (Lord Shiva is known as Dharbaranyeshwarar here) but the main glory of the temple is Lord Shaniswarar.
The temple has planned to make a golden ratham for Lord Shaniswarar. With a lot of devotees ready to offer contributions to the work, Repco Bank launched the e-remittance gateway at the bank’s head office situated on North Usman Road T. Nagar.
Inaugurating the gateway, the MD of the bank said that the e-remittance facility would be of great help to the devotees who desired to offer their donations to the Golden Chariot work. They can log on to repcobank.co.in and make their remittance online. This is part of the cost-free in-person remittance facility, which is available in all its 85 branches situated across South India, he added. Repco Bank has also arranged for display of banners in all its branches for the offerings and taken up other promotional initiatives for the temple to get more offerings and donations. Executive director of the bank Rajendran informed that this facility will be extended to all major temples. T E Thiruvengadham, GM (Dev) of the bank, welcomed the gathering, while R S Isabella GM (DPD) proposed the vote of thanks.
