Mysore, July 30, 2013: The 13th annual music festival organised by Sushira — Sri V Deshikachar’s Academy of Music — will be held from August 3 to 5 at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road here. A Carnatic vocal recital by Vidwan R.K. Padmanabha with Vidwan C.N. Chandrashekar on violin, Vidwan C. Cheluvaraju on mridanga and Vidwan B.N. Chandramouli on kanjira would be held on August 3; followed by a Carnatic classical instrumental music with Vidwan Mysore V. Vamshidar on flute, Vidwan Mysore M. Nagaraj on violin, Vidwan K.U. Jayachandra Rao on mridanga and Vidwan G. Guruprasanna on kanjira on August 4; and a veena duet by Vidushi Geetha Ramanand and Vidushi Revathi Murthy, with Vidwan G.S. Ramanujam on mridanga and Vidwan V.S. Ramesh on ghatam on August 5.

The music concerts would commence at 6 p.m. on all three days.
