Unique Temple
June 9, 2013: In the lap of scenic valley of Bhaderwah, surrounded by Kailash hills covered with snow and situated near the old vasuki naag temple is one of the rearest Maha Mritunjaya temples. Its uniqueness is presented by Lord Shiva having two kalashas in two hands pouring amrit on head having rudraksh mala in hand again having two more kalashah in other two hands filled with amrit sacred water having 8 hands kailash mountain along with mata Maha Gouri (Parvati) having half moon on head while Vasuki Naag Ji circling the neck sitting on fresh lotus flower with mata parvati in full bloom, and water tinkling from the jataas of lord shiv. One of the rearest moments and idols to watch. In the temple there are also idols of Ganesh ji alongwith Mata Ridhi and Sidhi, their sons Shubh and Labh, idols of Shirdi wale Sain baba ji, Mata Saraswati having veena in her hands, Panchmukhi Hanuman ji, idol of Shani ji maharaj, also Nandi ji and a lion and the shivlingam.
One feels peace and spiritual solace in this temple. In Kalyuga, it is said that Lord Shiv and Mata Parvati showered and blessings to those who believed in teachings of great saints, followed their pravachans and lived simple life, remembered God and worked for the benefit of humanity, helped poor and disabled.
The temple under construction will shortly have three more idols by the blessings of God. Gatha village of Bhaderwah should now be named as village of temples.
This is because temples of ancient age like Shri Vasuki Naag Ji,Mata Bhadrakali ji, MataSheetla Ji, Guru Ravidas ji temple and now a unique temple of its kind in northern India maha mrityunaya are found here.
It is suggested that J&K Dharmarth Trust should take up the beautification and maintenance of parks around the temples, should provide mast lights in the area. Also tourism authorities should develop the area around the temples. As in the coming days, many tourists will visit Bhaderwah Valley.. It will attract more and more tourists. Thus tourists industry here has great potential to flourish.
