Tension Grips Temple Town of Palani
Palani, July 27, 2013: Tension gripped the temple town as an indentified gang tied a portrait of Mother Mary in the hands of the idol of Sri Durga Devi on the main Gopuram of Thiru Avinangudi Temple, the third abode of Lord Murugan, near the foothills here on Friday. Police rushed to the spot and removed the portrait. An enquiry is on.
