Dumka, July 26, 2013: At least 40,000 devotees have offered 'Jalabhishek' today, on the third day of 'Sharavan' month at the famous Baba Basukinath temple located in this district. Official sources said more than 1.20 lakh people have paid obeisance at the lord shiva temple in past three days. 'A sum of rupees 2.12 lakh has been received in cash as offering apart from 302 grams of silver', sources said. The month long 'Sharavin mela' was inaugurated in July 23.
