Tirumala, July 26, 2013: Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will be presenting a pair of ‘silk vastrams’ to the temple of Lord Venkateswara on the eve of the nine-day annual Salakatla Brahmotsavam scheduled to begin on October 5. The presentation will be made on behalf of the State government.

Temple sources said that as was the tradition, the presentation ceremony would be organised on October 5 – the day coinciding with the Dwajarohanam festival.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD)’s Executive Officer M.G. Gopal would formally invite the Chief Minister on behalf of the temple administration.
