Vijayawada, July 24, 2013: Devotees to the Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada had a taste of Telangana culture when bonalu festival was celebrated on July 21. The Sri Mahankali Bonala Jathara Utsavala Ummadi Devalayala Uregimpu Committee organised a procession where ‘potharajus’ dancing to the rhythmic drumbeats and attired in colourful costumes went around the lanes and by-lanes of the temple as part of the festival.
