Shirdi Sai Seva Trust Starts ‘Nitya Annadana’ from Today
Bellary, July 21, 2013: Introduction of ‘nitya annadana’ and inauguration of a free medical dispensary will mark the ‘Guru Poornima’ celebrations by the Shirdi Sai Seva Trust at the Shirdi Saibaba temple in Vishal Nagar here on July 21.
Giving details of special programmes proposed for the occasion at a press conference here on Saturday, N. Kumarswamy, trust chairman, said that initially, the dispensary would function once in a week on the premises of the temple on all Sundays between 7.30 a.m. and noon, where free medical check-up would be done by K.V.S. Prasad, who is also a member of the trust, besides distributing free medicines to patients. He said that the trust had decided to convert the ‘annadana’, which was once a week, into ‘nitya annadana’ programme.
