Thanjavur, July 20, 2013: SASTRA University has distributed relief to the tune of Rs. 50 lakh directly to the families affected by flash floods at Kedaranath in Uttarakhand.

R. Sethuraman, Vice-Chancellor, and staff members P. Rajaraman and R. Suriyanarayanan met people in various villages in the affected areas personally and handed over the relief material. “Relief material consisting rice, wheat, sugar, paediatric food, milk powder, and pulses was given to 5,000 families.
