Austin Hindu Temple Celebrated Rath Yatra

Austin, TX (US), July 19, 2013: The Austin Hindu Temple and community center celebrated Ratha Yatra by hosting its Festival of Chariots Sunday.

Ratha Yatra symbolizes universal brotherhood, equality and inclusiveness.

"Once a year it's said that when you bring this deity out and you see him or touch him, your sins are washed," organizer Jagannadh Veeula said.
