Series of Temple Robberies Reported

Krishangiri, July 19, 2013: As many as five temples were burgled since July 10. According to the police, the burglars stole cash after breaking open a hundial at Ayyappan temple on the Salem Main Road on July 10. Series of burglaries were reported in Sri Prasanna Aadhi Soudeswari Temple at M.C. Palli, a temple at Mathur, Vinaykar Temple on Nesavukkaran Street on July 14 and ‘thali’ and cash stolen from Durgai Amman Temple near Coronation Grounds in Krishnagiri on Tuesday.
