Fresh Batch of 1, 558 Pilgrims Start their Journey to Amarnath

JAMMU, July 10, 2013: A fresh batch of 1,558 pilgrims on Wednesday left the Jammubase camp for Amarnath cave shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas. 

A convoy of 48 vehicles carrying 1,558 devotees left from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu at around 4.47AM towards Amarnath. 

The 14th batch of pilgrims includes 1,081 men, 375 women and 9 children. 

With today's batch, a total of 30,986 pilgrims have left for Amarnath from here so far.
