Chiranjeevi Denounces Gaya Attacks
NEW DELHI, July 9, 2013: Tourism minister K Chiranjeevi has strongly condemned the attack on the Mahabodhi Temple complex in Bodh Gaya and sought a report on the damages.
Bodh Gaya is a world heritage site and significant pilgrimage for Buddhists and is visited by foreign tourists from Sri Lanka, Japan China, Burma and Thailand among other countries.
In a statement, Chiranjeevi deeply regretted the injuries caused to the pilgrims and damage to the property by Sunday's attack.
