Amritsar, July 8, 2013: A day after the Bharatiya Janata Party raked up the Ayodhya issue, its president Rajnath Singh on Sunday said Ram mandir was not an election issue for the party.

“Ram mandir is not an election issue, the BJP will contest the next Lok Sabha polls on the issue of development and progress,” he said after paying obeisance at the Golden Temple here.
