Tirumala, July 7, 2013: Fervour marked the performance of Circar Sahasra Kalasabhishekam on Saturday at the famous hill temple of Lord Venkateswara. The annual religious event is performed once in a year to commemorate the historical donation of silver idol of Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy to the hill temple by the then Pallava queen Samavai Perindevi in the eighth century.
