Vellore, July 6, 2013: Jalagandeswarar Temple Protection Committee files police complaint against Assistant Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) department.

As the department has taken over the temple under its control Assistant Commissioner Parivallal has went to temple to discharge his duties when the quarrel erupted between him and members of temple protection committee. The committee has filed a police complaint charging the official of resorting to abuse.
