Thiruvanathapuram, July 4, 2013: The State-level celebration committee for the Ganeshotsav, to be held in September this year, has been formed with former Indian Space Research Organisation chairman G. Madhavan Nair as the chairman and former Director General of Police Venugopal K. Nair as president.

The committee has 1,001 members. The Ganeshotsav Trust said in a press note here that Uthradom Thirunal Marthanda Varma would be the chief patron of the committee.
