Thanjavur, July 2, 2013: Sri Suyatheendra Tirtha Swamiji of Sri Raghavendra Swami Mutt, Mantralayam, and his successor Sri Subudendra Tirtha Swami, arrived here on Monday by a special flight.

The two swamijis are on their way to Kumbakonam to take part in various events at Sri Vijayeendra Tirtha Swami brindavanam. They landed at Air Force Station and drove to Kumbakonam.

According to a release here by V. Baskar, Manager and Co-ordinator, Vishnu Balaji of Vijayendra Tirtha Swamiji Mutt, the swamijis will be taken on a “pattana pravesam” (procession) at Kumbakonam on Tuesday evening. Later, they will visit Sri Vijayendra Tirtha swamiji’s brindavanam. Sri Vijayendra Tirtha was the paramacharya of Sri Raghavendra Swamiji of Mantralaya.

On July 3, the swamijis will take part in the inauguration of Moolaramar Puja Mandapam.

The swamijis will take part in the aradhana of Sri Vijayendra Tirtha Swamiji from July 5 to 7. The poorvaradhana will be held on July 5, madhya aradana on July 6, and uttara aradhana on July 7.

On aradhana days, devotees can have Viswaroopa darsharn and Nirmalya darshan. Special abishekams and alankarams will be performed.
