Thanjavur, July 2, 2013: Kumbabishekam of Sri Vasishteswaraswamy Temple at Thittai near Thanjavur will be held between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on July 15. K.Baskaran, Collector, held discussions with officials regarding preparations for the festival. He instructed the HR and CE officials to erect temporary tin roofing around the temple and directed Tangedco officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Police have been told to put in place full security arrangements arrangements and transport department should operate special buses. Ambulance and fire tenders are to be kept ready.
