Musicians, School Children Donate to the Flood-Stricken
Ongole, July 2, 2013: Scores of singers under the banner of the Prakasam district Singers association Federation, mesmerised the public with their sweet voices to lend a helping hand to people affected by floods in Uttarakhand here on Monday.
Meanwhile, children of the government schools in Madanuru and J.Pangalur villages pooled little pocket money given by their parents to donate over Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 6,000 each to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. No Bank charges would be detected for such donations, SBI Collectorate branch manager V.Rambabu said.
