Mysore, June 27, 2013:  DC Dr. Ramegowda held a preliminary meeting with officials at his office here this morning on the preparations for Panchalinga Darshana at Talakadu in T.Narasipur Taluk, scheduled to commence from Dec 2.

The DC directed the officials to make all preparations regarding providing basic facilities that included erection of barricades, supply of drinking water, proper and adequate sanitation, decoration and lighting, cultural programmes and other activities concerning the festival.

The DC also instructed the officials not to give room for any lapses during Panchalinga Darshana, in which lakhs of devotees are expected to take part.

S.P. Abhinav Khare, ADC Naga Nayak, Assistant Commissioner B. Basavaraju, DHO Dr. Malegowda, Muzarai Tahsildar Yathiraj Sampath Kumaran, Kannada and Culture Department Asst. Director Manjappa, Information Dy. Director A.R. Prakash, DC Office Assistant Keshav Prasad and officials from PWD, Cauvery Neeravari Nigam and CESC were present.
