Kadapa, June 27, 2013: Sri Sridevi Bhoodevi Sametha Venkateswara kalyanam was performed in the historic Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple at Devunikadapa here on the Lord’s birth star ‘Sravana nakshatram’ on Wednesday.

Vedic pundit Matcha Venkata Seshacharyulu performed the kalyanotsavam , along with priests Krishnamohan, Trivikram, P. Narasimha Sai Krishna and Ravi Sarma. Later the priests performed ‘Santhi homam and poornahuthi’.

15 couples enter wedlock

Fifteen couples got married on the temple premises and received the Lord’s blessings along with their family members and relatives. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Assistant Executive Officer J. Subramanyam, Temple Inspector Easwar Reddy were among those who participated in the ceremony.
