Andhra Pradesh, June 27, 2013: People have tinkered with the eco-system and totally forgotten their duty to protect environment, which led to land erosion on the sides of the rivers Mandakini, Vasukiganga, and Alakananda in Uttarakhand. People over exploited nature and built multi-storied houses on the river banks, said Jana Vignana Vedika State president Jampa Krishna Kishore.
