TTD’s T.V. Channel Bags 6 Nandi Awards
Tirumala, June 26, 2013: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) has won the prestigious Nandi awards in various categories for the year 2011.
According to a press release issued by the TTDs Public Relations Officer T. Ravi, the channel has won six Nandi awards under the best mega serial, best documentary and TV feature categories.
While senior producer T. Srinivasa Rao won the Golden Nandi award for best director in the mega serial category and bronze for best producer, senior cameraman C.H. Tirumala Rao won the Golden Nandi award for best producer as well as bronze (best director) in the TV documentary category for ‘Nagoba Jatara’.
Meanwhile, senior producer D. Padmanabha Rao won the Golden Nandi award for best producer and bronze (best director) for ‘Brahma Mokkate’ under the best TV feature category.
The Chief Executive Officer of the channel, Dr. P. Madhusudhan Rao, received the awards from the Minister for Information and Public Relations D.K. Aruna at a ceremony organised in Gadwal on the 22nd of this month.
