Justice Sathasivam Pays Homage to Lord Venkateswara
TIRUMALA: Supreme Court Judge Justice P. Sathasivam on Monday offered prayers at the temple shrine of Lord Venkateswara along with his family members.
On his arrival at the main entrance of the temple complex, he was accorded a warm reception by the temple priests and TTD authorities and was led into the sanctum sanctorum. While the temple priest explained him the significance of the presiding deity and the history of the temple, the TTD’s Joint Executive Officer K.S. Srinivasa Raju presented him with the laddu prasadam and memento of the Lord. Meanwhile, he was also rendered Vedasirvachanams by the temple priests at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the temple complex. On his way back, Justice Sathsivam also offered prayers at the temple of goddess Padmavathi ammavaru at Tiruchanoor about 5 km from Tirupati.
Prominent among others who accompanied him include the High Court Judge Justice N.V. Ramana and other judicial officials of the district.
