BHAGALPUR: Preparations are underway for month-long Shrawani Mela scheduled for next month. Reviewing the preparations for the mela, Bhagalpur DM Prem Singh Meena on Wednesday directed officials of different departments including Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), road construction, health and energy to complete the work allotted to them by July 9.

It was decided to repair the ghats of river Ganga at Sultanganj besides revamping electrical infrastructure, drinking water supply, dharamshalas, roads and Kanwaria path so that the pilgrims have trouble-free route falling under Bhagalpur district.
