Chardham Yatra Devotees Receives Uttarakhand Government Advisory for Good Health
13th May, all set to the sacred voyage of Chardham Yatra towards the Uttarakhand valley; and with the gaining amount of curiosity, different preparations are unfolding their programs according to the door opening schedules. Taking an intriguing part in this curriculum, the Uttarakhand Government is issuing an advisory for the keen devotees who are all set to take on the holy expedition towards the Himalayas namely the consecrated Chardham Yatra. The advisory is all about their medical examination before setting themselves at the high altitude journey, all for their safety and curiosity for health.
The letter of advisory is being addressed to other states of India to divulge the concerned matter of the health of the devotees publically. Surendra Singh Negi, the Uttarakhand Health Minister has suggested some kinds of precautions to the devotees before proceeding towards the famousYamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath- the four major shrines of Chardham Yatra.
It has been advised to the devotees to have a complete medical checkup before planning their Chardham Tour and to carry the doctor’s prescription and necessary medicines along with them before starting their journey.
With the growing number of devotees every year, this advisory will really help for those medically unfit people to carry their spiritual journey towards Uttarakhand, more comfortably and safely. Where diseases like diabetes, breathing problem, cardio-vascular or other high altitude sicknesses are quite common among the regular pilgrims, this advisory will definitely alert the pilgrims and the temple committee volunteers too to take some precautionary steps while touring towards Chardham.
Also, considering about the geographical locations of these shrines, the devotees have also been advised not to smoke or consume alcohol during the entire expedition to Char Dham. The Government of Uttarakhand advisory also includes the information of the availability of the doctors’ panel at few distances to ail the people suffering from breathlessness, nauseating tendencies or acute headache during the yatra.
The Yatra which will be continued till mid November; the Uttarakhand Government is wishing a safe and healthy Yatra for the continuous six months, so the devotees should also be blessed this year with good health along with spiritual gains.
