‘Kulapati’ K.M. Munshi, founder of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is set to be immortalized in the form of a bronze bust statue which is set to be placed at the Bhavan’s Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya campus in Tirupati; concurring with his 125th birth anniversary and also the Bhavan’s platinum jubilee this year.

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and his counterpart from Uttar Pradesh B.L. Joshi will unveil the statue and also inaugurate ‘Spiritual Retreat’, a national-level carnival of Bhavan’s members on a spiritual mission, while TTD’s Executive Officer L.V. Subrahmanyam, who is also the Chairman of Bhavan’s Tirupati Kendra, will preside. Noted violinist ‘Kalaimamani’ A. Kanyakumari will perform on the occasion.
