TTD’s initiative to inculcate Hindu dharma in children
TTD April19, 2014: Subhapradam programme is aimed at sowing the seeds of the values embedded in Hindu Sanatana Dharma in the tender and pious hearts of children and make them as the best citizens of future India, said TTDs Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar.
Addressing the awareness programme on Subhapradam meant for TTD nodal officers and Dharma Prachara Parishad Mandalis(DPMs) in SVETA bhavan at Tirupati on Saturday, the JEO said, the hearts and minds of children will be pure and transparent at the age of schooling. “If we could able teach them the human moral values at this age, then they will surely become the good citizens of this great country. Today unfortunately both the parents as well as the teachers are failing to bring up the children morally. So the week long summer camp of Subhapradam taken up by TTD is sure to make our children in to complete human beings”, he added.
He said, the Deputy EO level officers have been appointed as nodal officers to select the schools for the summer training camp in different districts and also to take care of the boarding and lodging facilities provided by TTD. He also instructed the DPMs to take active part in making this programme a huge success in their respective areas.
Former HDPP Secretary Sri K Venkat Reddy said, there is need to teach the children of 8th, 9th and 10th standards who are taking part in this programme on moral subjects exemplifying the great the life history of great saints, leaders, kings etc. during the summer camps.
HDPP Special Officer Sri B Raghunath, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji and other Deputy EOs were also present.
Meanwhile Subhapradam will commence from 19th to 25 of May and the last date of receiving applications from the willing candidates will be 25th of April. So far TTD has received 24thousand applications for the said programme from students across the state.
