Tirumala  March 23, 2014: The 511th Vardanthi Mahotsavam of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya will be observed in Tirumala on March 27.

On this occasion, the processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi will be taken to Padmavathi Parinaya Mandapam in Narayanagiri Gardens around 8am where Unjal Seva is performed. Later the Annamacharya artistes will render Kritis in “Gosti Ganam”(community singing).

After that the deities will return to the temple around 11am.

In connection with this event, the Annamacharya Project of TTD has arranged special cultural programmes at Astana Mandapam in Tirumala
