Scientific health analysis supports Hindu spiritual practice
Alandi March 06, 2014: It has been proved by research that, the strength of the heart of warkaris travelling on foot from Alandi to Pandhrpur increases due to continuously chanting the Name of Vitthal. It has been observed that the pronunciation of the Name Vitthalaffects positively the ability of the heart along with its energy. Head of the Ved Vidnyan Research Centre, Pandit Prasad Joshi gave this information in a press conference.
Pandit Joshi said,
1. The findings have been found from the research of 30 healthy persons in the age group of 20 – 60 years. This research was being conducted since last one year.
2. Some of the persons on whom the experiments were performed were theists, atheists, so also from different business fields.
3. They were asked to Chant Vitthals’s Name. Before chanting and after chanting, various tests like Blood pressure, heart–beats, ECG, To D Eco were done.
4. These tests were performed to find out the total effect of devotion, bhav (Spiritual emotion) and Deity’s Name on human body.
5. After the chanting blood pressure, heart and pulse beats appeared to have balanced. The injection fraction in To D Eco also was observed to be increasing positively.
6. I got the idea of this research from the question, ‘From where the war Karis get their energy chanting Vitthal’s Name while walking?
7. The research on the persons was conducted under the guidance of senior heart specialist Dr. Avinash Inamdar and Dr. Sanjeevani Inamdar.
8. Research is going to be conducted in future on ‘Whether chanting affects heart disease’.
9. Research on the science in Vedas must be done in one’s own interest. For that research if inferiority complex about it is discarded then the science in these things will reach people!
