Maharashtra February 02, 2014: Thousands of devotees were enthralled with the sight of the celestial wedding of the processional deities of Lord MalayappaSwamy along with this two consorts to Sri Devi and Bhu Devi which took place in a grand manner in the Tapovan Grounds of Kalamba village near Kolhapur in Maharashtra on Friday evening.

Starting from Punyahavachanam to Purnahuti, the devotees were delighted with the charm of the processional deities in the beautiful moon light. Earlier in the day, a grand procession of the deities has been carried out from RaghavendhraSwamy mutt to Mahalakshmi temple and Tirumala JEO Sri KS SreenivasaRaju also presented silk vastrams on behalf of TTD.

Later the deities were placed in the grounds for the darshan of the locals from 11am to 3pm before the celestial wedding commenced in the evening.

TTD Chairman Sri K.BapiRaju, Sri Satej Patel, State Home Minister also took part in the religious wedding.

Kalyanotsavam OSD Sri Ramachandra Reddy and others were also present.
