It is always said that Vishnu, out of love towards His devotees, incarnated as Venkateswara and appeared for the salvation and upliftment of humanity in this Kali Yuga age. Sri Balaji  is considered the Supreme form of Vishnu in this age. The Venkateswara swami temple is also called Kaliyuga Vaikuntam.  The residents of North America feel lucky to have Sri Balaji Temple at Bridgewater for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Sri Balaji Temple at Bridgewater is one the most beautiful Hindu temples in North America.

The Temple was designed by Indian Temple Architects according to the ancient Indian Temple Building codes and was inaugurated with a grand kumabhishekam in 1998. The Temple Worship begins with offering prayers to Dhwajasthambham, the flag ship of the temple. From the Dhwajasthambham you see a beautiful tower called the Rajagopuram with Hindu scriptures and art work inscribed on it.  Chola style of temple architecture is taken as basis for designing the temple.

With Lord Vekateswara the savior of mankind temple there are also many sannidhanams  - smaller temples of Lord Ganesha, Siva Parvati, Sri Ayyappa, Sayanarayana swamy, Radha Krishna, Sri Rama, Lord Hanuman , Navagraha, lakshmi Narayana , Sridevi, Bhudevi, Garuda and utsavamurthies of Lakshmi , Duraga and  Saraswati are put up for darshan

Sri Balaji Temple is located at 107 Route 202/206, Bridgewater, NJ-08807 .  If you are coming from New York City one should take George Washington Bridge, Lincoln/Holland Tunnel to NJ Turnpike South. Then take Exit 14 to 78 West, from there take Exit 29 to 287 North and then take 287 North to Exit 22A (202/206 S). You should pass through 5 lights (approx 3 miles) and pass Old Farm Road. Then Turn right at the Brown Road light (6th light) in to the Temple grounds.

Ashtottara Archana, Any diety Abhishekam, Vahana Puja, Homam, Kalyanam, Sahasranamam, Satyanarayana Puja, One day temple kainkaryam, Bhagavati Seva, Chandi Homam, Deepa Puja, Dhana Lakshmi Puja, Ksheerabdhi dwadasi puja, Nagula chavithi abhishekam and many more services can be attained at Sri Balaji Temple. Apart from religious services, the temple also conducts educational, community and cultural services.

The temple is run by Hindu Temple & Cultural Society of USA. Mr Siva Lakshamana Rao Kakarla is the Chairman of the Community. Mr Bonthu A Naidu is the vice chairman. Sreenath Kakarla, Hari Tummala, Dr Krishna Pamidimukkala, Venkat Golthi, Dr Ravi Erukulla, Dr Suresh Alaparthy, Kalpana Aluri, Dr Prabhakar Rao Amuluru, Bala Andrapalliyal, Ramakrishna Prasad Atluri, Sudhakar Bandari, Srinivas Bolla, Kiron Das, Ravi Erukulla, Ramakrishna Gogineni, Venkat Golthi, Ananth L Gundapuneedi, Uma Rao Kastury , Dr Janani Krishna, Dr Bapineedu Kuchipudi, Mohan Myneni, Dr Krishna Pamidimukkala, Dr Shirish Parekh, Dr Niranjan kumar Penupatruni, Sambasiva Swaminathan, Hari Tummala, Yugandhar Rao Vallabhaneni are the board persons of the community.

On weekdays the timings are 8:30 AM 11:30 AM and 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. On weekends, National Holidays and Festivals the timings are from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
