Take ‘A Glimpse into Hinduism’ at Davis centre, Canada
February 15, 2014: “A Glimpse into Hinduism” will be presented by Mukta Kulkarni at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at the Center for Spiritual Living, Davis. The center meets at Congregation Bet Haverim, 1715 Anderson Road, and Kulkarni’s workshop will be in the north classroom. A donation of $20 is suggested.
Kulkarni, a Davis resident, will discuss principles of Hinduism and answer the questions “what is yoga?” and “what is Vedanta?”
The workshop is part of the center’s observance of the Season for Peace and Nonviolence, a 64-day educational and grassroots “season” that runs from Jan. 30 to April 4 and is dedicated to demonstrating that nonviolence is a powerful way to heal, transform and empower our lives and our communities.
