Tirumala February 11, 2014: Thousands of devotees from various parts of Tiruchirapalli district participated in the Mahakumbhabhisekam of ancient Goddess Shri Loganayagi sametha Shri Kailasanathar temple at suburb Sirugambur near here today. According to Hindu religious and charitable endownment department sources Lord Shiva Temple was ancient one and it might have been built at least 1000 years ago. In connection with the Mahakumbhabhisekam, renovations works to the tune of Rs several lakhs have carried out, the sources added. Soon after the Mahakumbhabhisekam, that there was a mass feeding was held.
