Boston February 10, 2014: In 2001 The Sarva Deva Mandir was established to meet the Sarva needs like religious, spiritual, educational, cultural and social needs of sarve jana. The committee has come up with Sarva Deva Mandir with a noble purpose. The idea behind such temple is to teach the NRI children on the several gods who are existing in Hindu religion. Children can be exposed to religion in their daily lives in this way. Sarva Dev Mandir is mandir of all our Gods. Ganesha, Durga, Rama, Krishna, Hanuman.
Sarva Deva Mandir has a Vidyalaya also which teaches music classes, language classes and classes on Hinduism also.
The daily puja procedure of the Mandir is - On Sundays - amritvani at 11:00 am,
Mondays – Shiva Chalisa at 6:30pm,
Tuesdays – Hanuman Chalisa at 6:30 pm,
Wednesdays – Bhagwath Katha at 6:30 pm,
Thursdays – Geetha Path at 6:30 pm,
Fridays - Durga Chalisa at 6:30 pm,
Saturdays – Hanuman CHalisa at 10:30 am.
Mr Ishwara Sharma is the President of Sarva Deva Mandir. Shankar Garg is the vice-president, Subhash Gupta is the secretart, and Shiva Saksena is the secretary. Neelu Sharma, Ravi Acharya, Ram Upadhyay, Barin Bando and Jay Patel are the members of the committee.
The Mandir is located in Oxford, 6 Main Street, Oxford, MA 01540 MA and is easily accessible via interstate highway 395. The easy directions to reach Sarva Deva Mandir are – One should take Exit # 3 off 395 and at the ramp make a left turn. At T Junction- take a left on Rt 12 and Sarva Deva Mandir is the second building on your left.
It is open Monday- Sunday from 10:00am to 8:00pm.
