February 05, 2014: In 1986 an ad-hoc committee was set up by likeminded people who wanted to set up a temple in Michigan. A land was finalized with the super rocking moral support from the Bharatiya Temple in Michigan and the Hare Krishna Temple in Detroit. In 1990 the temple took a final shape and since then it went on with lot of innovations and developments. A Prayer Hall, Language Classes, voluntary help by medical doctors and many more are the improvements which have taken place. And in 2010 new renovated temple has been built to accommodate more and more number of devotees.

Lord Krishna & Radha Devi, Lord Lakshmana, Lord Rama and & Sita Devi, Lord Hanuma, Mother Durga & Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva & Parvathi Devi and Goddess Sridevi & Lord Balaji & Goddess Bhoodevi are the various deities who can be devoted at The Hindu Temple of Canton.

Then turn Left on to Sheldon Road

Temple is on your Left

The temple timings are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and on Saturdays and Sundays the timings are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
