Tirumala February 03, 2014: Among the ancient texts of Hindu Religion, Bhagavat Gita stands iconic for its message which is helpful and needy for all generations to lead a righteous path of life, said TTD EO Sri MG Gopal.

Addressing the closing ceremony of the six-day Bhagavati Gita discourse programme at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Saturday, the EO said, “Gita” emerged out of the word of Lord Himself and every verse in this sacred Hindu text lays emphasis on how to lead a life full of ethics. “This is the reason why today many of the foreign countries have opted Bhavat Gita for personality building in management couses”, he added.

He called upon the parents to impart, educate and narrate the essence embedded in the sacred text to their children and make them future citizens of this blessed country.

Later he felicitated renowned Sanskrit scholar Dr.VR Panchamukhi who rendered spiritual discourse on Bhagavat Gita for six days.
