Lord Venkateswara is the Direct Divine form in the ongoing Kaliyuga. In order to attain His grace and to remove the negative effects of Saturn,Rahu and Ketu or those who want favourable results of the planets must perform Sanivara vrata (Observance of Saturday) which is the best way.

This vrata must be started on the first Saturday in the traditional months of Sravana or Pushya and continued for 19 weeks. Those who want to have favourable results of the planets put castor and sesame oil, ghee and light the lamps with black, red, blue wicks. Worshipping with blue flowers is the best way.Fasting is a must on Saturday. Breakfast can be had during the day, and must be content with fruits and milk in the nights. On the concluding week they must donate black clothes, cotton, iron,oil etc..

Observing this vratam on Saturday frees one from the negative effects of Saturn. The dangers are removed, and offers the grace of the ‘Remover of Dangers’ (Lord Venkateswara). The intention with which the vrata is Performed, will be fulfilled by the grace of Lord Venkateswara.
