Kedareswara Vratam
Kedareswara vratam is performed by the Goddess Parameswari Parvatidevi by Herself. By performing this vratam goddess Parvati attained half portion of Lord shiva. This vratam has unique greatness of having converted Parameswara in to Arthanariswara. Kedareswara vratam gives equal importance to both the lord and the goddess. This vratam can be performed by anyone. The couples who perform this vratam are graced with ideal marital life just as Umadevi was graced by Lord Kedareswara. They will be blessed with good children also. There will not be any worries to them. They enjoy peace and wealth in their houses. Lord Shiva is the giver of auspicious results and wealth. He is the supreme lord of education and knowledge. So the performance of Kedareswara vratam gives promotion in employment, progress in trade and education. Above all the grace of the divine couple Uma and Maheswara will be attained. Those who are Shivaites perform this vratam whenever they undertake any auspicious program. According to the scripture, the goddess is said to have ordered that this vratam must be performed on Astami tithi in sukla paksha(Bright forth night) in the month of Aswayuja. Similarly it would be better to perform this vratam on any auspicious day or Pournami tithi in the month of kartika
